One of the "shocking" revelations about the Obama campaign is the fact that there are entire spheres of black life with which most white people have almost no familiarity.

Really! How many white people knew that black professionals have to use different sets of skills when they are interacting with whites as opposed to blacks. How many whites knew that black beauty shops in South Carolina would be a must stop for any Democrat who wanted to be president? Likewise, how many knew there was a "black church" or that some of the preachers in black churches were not unreasonably damning the United States for its legacy of white supremacy?

Not all that many, and I wasn't one of them.

The posted birth certification for Barack Obama has raised more questions. An official state "certification of birth" must contain both an official state seal and state registrar's signature attesting to its validity. The posted Obama birth certification contains neither.
Hawaii is unusual in that it places both of these certifying features on the reverse side. However, posted examples of genuine ones show these authenticating features do show through to the front side. The Obama campaign at the very least should release scanned images of both sides of this document to prove they really are there.
To remove any charges of fraud, they should release the actual paper document to be examined by unbiased examiners.

Strange title for a blog and it's obvious where I'm going with this before I even start. Still I have nothing else to do right now so stringing a few random sentences together, underneath a title that seems to suggest that all Presidents follow the same script,it being only the times and circumstances that change, will do. One act follows another in perfect lockstep marching to the beat of an agenda that comes from somewhere other than the American people. How do I know this? Age and observation help plus an ability or perhaps neurosis to connect seeming unconnected events.

I mean I have watched America go through two unpopular major wars and have heard the new president running say he wanted to end the war and the suffering imposed on the people here at home and the lucky host country for that war. Only to hear all that fade into talk of responsible troop redeployment and peace with honor and other trite open ended promises that could and often do mean several contradictory things. I have also seen several economic cycles, oil supply problems, banking disasters, housing crunches, Wall street swoons and the list goes on. There's really nothing truly new going on right now, just slight permutations.

I was originally supported Dodd mainly because of his strong fight against telecom immunity.   When Dodd dropped out I moved to Barack because I felt that he would truly change politics.

Obama's stand on the FISA bill is cowardly.  Like many other politicians in the Democratic party he appears willing to trash the constitution in order to further his political goal.

I know this is harsh but at this point he's acting like a politician, not a game changer.   He's lost my support for now and he will have to regain my trust before he gets my vote.

The best way I know to send a message to to opt out of my.barackobama.com.  However, I couldn't find a way to do so on the web site.   Anybody know how to unsubscribe?

As for Hillary Clinton, what decision will she make?  What will she do? Could she run as an independant without the so called black vote and win?  Lets look at the statistics according to the CIA FactBook 81.7% of  United States Citizen are white; 12.9% are black; and 4,2% are Asian. Hispanics who fall into the above ethnic groups are tallyed based on their etnicity or their color.  It's pretty obvious that Hillary Clinton could make a run for independant and run, and judging by her supprters reaction when she refused to concede tonight; like Lieberaman she would probably win.
