As I progress in penning these diaries, more and more concerning the sordid tactics of the public relations counsel and related professions shall be illuminated. To be sure, such professionals are not inherently "bad" for people. No, as I am wont to reply to those that confirm my suspicion that such equates to a form of "brain-washing," the fact is that people need goods and services and competition in the market place; it is only natural that demand should be advanced by producers and retailers of wares and services. But as with anything, moderation is of beneficence while anything in the extreme proves otherwise. It is obvious to me that the art of creating and inflating demand currently falls into the category of the latter and not just so due to tactics of such, but also to the sheer volume of activity generated.
